Friends of Environment is a Nonprofit, Non-Governmental, Non-Political and Non-Religious organization duly registered with Government of Pakistan under the Trust Act 1882 at Registrar of Trust-Islamabad. FOE is devoted towards protection of deteriorating and dwindling environmental conditions of Pakistan. FOE desires to undertake a massive plantation, development of model forests, termite control programs, wild life protection, EcoSustainable Tourism, installation of Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs), Solid waste management for conserving land and related resources especially fresh water streams and underground water. FOE plans to execute several aspects of environment protection for a clean and green Pakistan. “Friends of Environment” is committed to achieving their long term objective of “Increasing the forest canopy in Pakistan from existing 2% (approximately) to 25% in coming 25 Years”. FOE tends to achieve this objective by not only preservation and protection of existing trees but also massive fresh plantation of useful indigenous trees across Pakistan.

Friends of Environment wants to control all kinds of pollutions by adopting cost effective modern technologies and promote bio degradable packing material instead of plastic bags for conservation of Environment of Pakistan and mitigating the impact of climate change in Pakistan.
